TikTok allows users to share 15-second video clips. A merger with Musical.ly took place in 2018 and TikTok gained access to a large database of music. Many of its users used this to create funny and lip-sync videos.

People and celebrities used TikTok’s filters and special effects to create fun content, such as challenges and dance videos. Many of these went viral.

The ‘perfect time’ to post on social media platforms can be difficult to pinpoint. There are some trends emerging about the best days and times to post on social media.

Wait a minute before you schedule those TikTok updates! Consider the different time zones, such as your expanding audience in Australia and California. The time and day will vary depending on the country from which people view it. Plus, TikTok currently does not have a schedule function or a link to management apps which allow it.

Use a converter to keep track of the different time zones in each country that is important to your brand. You can then create a schedule of content for each territory. Localising content on TikTok is not easy, but it’s a great strategy to grow the app.

Analytics are available only to Pro users. It’s easy to upgrade your TikTok account to Pro.

Click on Settings and choose Manage my account. You will see ‘Switch To Pro Account’, where you can choose from a variety of business categories such as personal blogs, media, cooking and health. Then you are asked to enter your phone number in order to receive an SMS with a unique code. You will receive a code via SMS if you enter this code.
